UtsavPrivacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Utsav (run by Clotrio, a proprietorship of Sivaguru, Tiruppur) collects, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Hosts: name, phone number, email, state (for GST), wedding details you enter, and payment references from Cashfree (never card or bank details).
- Guests, added by the host: family name, optional phone number, language, and which events they are invited to.
- When a guest opens an invite: a random ID stored in one cookie (
utsav_d), the browser type, the first part of the IP address and the approximate city. We use these only to limit how many phones a link opens on. - RSVP: whether the family is coming, how many people, and any wish they write.
- Visiting our website: a random ID kept in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), which page you came from (for example an Instagram post or a friend's invite), your device type, and which steps of the invite maker you reached. No names, phone numbers or IP addresses are stored with it. We use it only to see which pages help and where people get stuck.
Why we use it
- To show each family their invite and record their reply.
- To stop one link being shared widely.
- To take payment and issue GST invoices.
- To reply to support requests.
- To improve the website, using the anonymous visit data above.
We do not sell personal data or use guests' details for advertising.
Hosts' responsibility
When you add guests, you confirm they have agreed to receive your invite. Guest phone numbers are used only to help you send your invite.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase (database, hosted in India, Mumbai region)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Cashfree Payments (payments)
- Our email provider (support replies and service emails)
How long we keep it
Invite links close 30 days after the last event. Guest lists, RSVPs and photos are deleted 12 months after the last event, or sooner if the host deletes the invite. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent. Guests can ask the host, or write to us directly.

Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and every admin action is logged.
